GSK mega-brand Aquafresh provide comprehensive tooth care for children and adults. In the kids category, they market their portfolio in the UK via Captain Aquafresh and the Nurdles, who sing and dance while your little ones brush - teaching them about their teeth, building new habits, and perhaps giving mom and dad a much deserved break!

Looking after these precious little teeth is important because their enamel is 50% thinner than your adult teeth and needs extra care. Milk teeth pave the way for healthy and strong adult teeth so it’s doubly important to give them gentle protection.

Aquafresh had developed the Captain Aquafresh proposition for web, mobile, Youtube, Android and IOS apps. They also have downloadable activities and materials for schools.

The Brief

Recognising how popular Voice is with parents and children, we were asked to create an interactive voice service that gets kids to brush better by bringing the Aquafresh Brush Time songs, assets, and content to Amazon Alexa & Google Assistant.

  • Port the “Brush Time” brand and look & feel to voice.
  • Reuse as much content and assets from the mobile app and website as possible.
  • Re-create the animation as best as possible on Alexa and Assistant for screen based devices.

Captain Aquafresh and the Nurdles show kids a fun way to brush all parts of their teeth correctly using audio content via Amazon Alexa & Google Assistant.

Catchy songs and dances get them brushing and help get them get to 2 minutes of brushing that dentists recommend. And because they’re having so much fun, before they know it, they’re done!
